There has been a lot of talk recently about mobile optimisation, fueled by Google’s latest algorithm change which will see sites which are not mobile optimised punished heavily by the search engines ranking system. The mobile search which has seen significant updates since 2012 is now planning to show an icon next to all sites which are not mobile friendly and the underlying algorithm will place more weight on this in determining how your site fares in the ranking system.

If you do not have a mobile optimised site by April 21st 2015 you may want to consider either trying to optimise your existing site or a moving to a modern responsive framework to prevent your online presence from falling down the rankings.
